Purefoods, Rain or Shine eye win No. 2

PUREFOODS and Rain or Shine try to stay on top when they tackle separate foes Friday in the 34th KFC-PBA Philippine Cup at the Cuneta Astrodome.

Purefoods seeks its second win against San Miguel Beer at 7:30 p.m. while Rain or Shine hopes to keep its winning form against Red Bull in their 5 p.m. encounter.

The Giants, last year’s runner up, survived the Barakos 77-73. Tahey are aiming to duplicate their eight straight wins that enabled them to claim the first automatic semifinal slot last year.
