MILF launches new offensives in Mindanao |

Despite the large number of troops deployed, the
military has failed to locate rogue commanders
|

EIGHT government soldiers were wounded in a firefight with the Moro
Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) Sunday morning in Maguindanao, an
initial report of the military said.
The wounded were identified as Lt. Edever Pulido;
Staff Sgt. Joseph Simangan; Corporals Ruben Nicolas, Roberto Anap
and Jesus Alcoba; Private First Class Gilbert Garciano and Erwin
Palencia; and Sgt. Renato Roble.
