Learn how to swim without leaving your comfort zone  

Graduate from the kiddie pool. Confidence at the beach or at the pool means more than daring to bare a bikini. Go to the deep end. Swimming is not only the birthright of a seafaring race such as the Filipino; it is an essential survival skill in an archipelagic tropical nation and a complete health activity. But one must first overcome any fear of water.

Coaches Anthony and Angelo Lozada, sons of Bert Lozada—pioneer in teaching swimming in the country and founder of the Bert Lozada Swim School—share that common misconceptions why a lot of people tend not to study swimming are due to traumatic experiences that occurred in the past, impression that swimming is tough exercise for the body and belief that its only for kids.
