merger doomed to fail |

FORMER House Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr. said Monday the planned
merger between Lakas- Christian Muslim Democrats and the Kabalikat
ng Malayang Pilipino or Kampi is just a dream and would not
prosper.
De Venecia, the Lakas president emeritus, told
House reporters that he is now talking to some figureheads of other
political parties to form a coalition and not a merger.
