8 killed, 32 injured in Mindanao bus bombing

A homemade bomb explosion ripped through a commuter bus on Monday, killing at least eight people in the southern Philippines, where security forces are battling Moro rebels, officials said.

Officials said the bombing targeted the bus owned by Metro Shuttle in Digos City in Davao del Sur province. At least 32 were wounded in the bombing, according to Agence France-Presse.
