Bishop to Esperon: ‘Resign’

GRP panel should also quit for bungling deal

A high official of the Catholic Church on Tuesday called on members of the government peace panel to quit their post over their alleged bungling of peace efforts with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

The call was made by Cotabato Auxiliary Bishop Collin Bagaforo after members of the government peace panel led by Hermogenes Esperon Jr. and Rodolfo Garcia admitted to signing a memorandum of agreement on ancestral domain with the MILF without presidential authority.
