Agriculture eyes P4-B from VAT collections
|
|
Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap said the next
batch of collections from the expanded value-added tax (E-VAT),
amounting to P4 billion will be allocated for agriculture
production, specifically as financial assistance to small farmers.
“This third wave of the ‘Katas ng VAT’
program might have additional funding for financial assistance to
farmers,” Yap said.
