Exports slow on
strong peso,
weak electronics shipments
|

PHILIPPINE merchandise exports in
July slowed owing to a strong peso and weak electronic shipments
abroad, the National Statistics Office (NSO) reported Wednesday.
The NSO said exports climbed 4.3
percent to $4.430 billion from $4.249 billion in July last year, or
lower than the 8.8-percent growth registered in June.
