10,000 Filipino kids die yearly from diarrhea |
|
Around 10,000 Filipino children who suffer from diarrhea die every
year, a study conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO) and
the Philippines’ Department of Health showed.
Health officials reported that about 70,000
children died from diarrhea in the past seven years, making it the
fourth-leading cause of death among Filipino children younger than
five years old.
