Senate to hold
consultations
on Charter change |

Reporter
The Senate Committee on
Constitutional Amendments headed by Sen. Richard Gordon will hold
regional and provincial hearings on the proposal to shift to a
federal form of government by amending the Constitution.
Gordon said the
consultations with the greatest number of people from a
cross-section of society would validate or reject claims of mounting
calls for the shift.
