SLOTMAN Rabeh Al-Hussaini fired 31 points to lift Ateneo de Manila
University past defending champion De La Salle University, 69-61, in
Game 1 of the 71st University Athletic Association of the
Philippines men’s basketball tournament best-of-three title series
Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.
The victory moved the Blue Eagles to within a
win of clinching their first championship since 2002 ironically
against the Green Archers.
