Justice panel wants more time to probe CA scandal |
|

time beyond the 30-day period given them to finish and submit a
report on the Court of Appeals bribery scandal, owing to the complex
nature of the case.

Pineda, said Monday that he formally asked Justice Secretary Raul
Gonzalez for an extension on the conduct of the investigation, so
the prosecutors will be able to study well the records of the case,
including the affidavits and evidence turned over earlier by the
Supreme Court.
