Lacson strikes out at Joker

More fireworks expected during interpellation

Sen. Panfilo Lacson focused his attack on Sen. Joker Arroyo on Monday, calling him a “rabid defender” of Senate President Manuel Villar Jr. and a turncoat for defending him.

Lacson’s privileged speech was a continuation of a Senate row that erupted last week, shortly after Villar had announced his candidacy to run for president in 2010.
