GENERAL SANTOS CITY: Local
government and South Cotabato II Electric Cooperative (Socoteco II)
officials here are at loggerheads over the nonpayment of property
tax and electric bills amounting to more or less P240 million.
Engr. Rudy Ocat, Socoteco-II
manager, stressed on Monday that the electric cooperative has no
other choice but disconnect all government-owned facilities
including street lights if the local government will continue to
ignore its P90-million worth electric bills.
