Govt bans milk from China

BFAD checking if candies also have melamine  

The Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) temporarily banned the sale of Chinese-manufactured milk products, which were reportedly contaminated with high levels of the chemical melamine.

Candies coming from China will also be scrutinized by the bureau to check if the milk used in their production also carried melamine.
