Zubiri raps govt
inaction on biofuels |

Sen. Miguel Zubiri questioned Friday the failure of the
Department of Energy (DOE) to issue the standards for the
manufacture and sale of E85, or a blend of 85-percent ethanol and
15-percent fossil fuel.
Zubiri, author of the Bio-fuels Law, said the
delay in the Energy department’s action is keeping interested
parties from expanding beyond the current production of E10, or a
blend of 10-percent ethanol and 90-percent fossil fuel.
