Lady Tamaraws capture UAAP cage crown

FAR EASTERN UNIVERSITY (FEU) ended a 10-year title drought in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines women’s basketball after beating University of the Philippines 52-46 Saturday for a sweep of their best-of-three title showdown at The Arena in San Juan.

Raisa Palmera had 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals while Bernadette Manalo, who was later named Finals Most Valuable Player, chipped in 11 points and 2 steals for the Lady Tamaraws, who survived the Lady Maroons 54-52 in Game 1.
