Working those baby steps

Yosha’s debut

Bonded together by their love for music, food and God, seasoned sessionistas congregated to make music of their own. That’s Yosha: comprised of Karel Honasan on bass, Nikko Rivera on keyboards, Mike Alba on drums and, of course, Yosha herself on lead vocals.

They just released their independent album Baby Steps featuring ten tracks, including the launching single “Natural.” They recently launched their album on September 29 at Teatrino Greenhills with their favorite musicians such as Freestyle vocalist Mike Luis, saxophone player Mike Guevarra, Corporate Lo-fi and Wahujuara trumpet player Richie Gonzaga, percussionist Arwin Nava of Wahijuara and Radioactive Sago Project and guitarist/producer extraordinaire Jack Rufo who also produced the album along with the band. Sino Sikat? guitarist Nick Azarcon hosted the event.
