Alcantara loses Nagoya singles bid

Filipino Francis Casey Alcantara bid farewell anew in the boys’ singles following a heart-breaking second-round loss in the 2009 Japan Open Junior Tennis Championship in Nagoya.

Alcantara, currently ranked 14th in the International Tennis Federation juniors, absorbed a shocking 1-6, 6-7 (3) setback to unheralded Gengo Kikuchi of Japan.
