We share the hopes of Association of Southeast Asian Nation (Asean) leaders, including our own President Gloria Arroyo, that the various meetings with heads of state and government related to the association’s postponed 14th Summit can be held soon enough.

All the Asean government leaders and foreign ministry chiefs have, through different forms and expressions, commiserated with and tried to console the Thai government for having been forced to postpone the summits.
