Vice Gov. Piñol says political feuds in Tulunan town
could be behind the killing

ZAMBOANGA CITY: Unidentified motorcycle gunmen shot dead an
Commission on Elections (Comelec) officer in a broad daylight attack
Wednesday in North Cotabato, police said.
Police said Francisco “Frank” Micutuan,
Comelec officer of Tulunan town, was ambushed at about 3.15 p.m. in
the village of Buayan in M’lang town.
AT least 50,000 individuals are bound to lose their jobs besides the
disruption of the delivery of basic services to the public once the
Supreme Court finally decides to revert to the cityhood status of 16
cities to municipality.
ORANI, Bataan: Church leaders are set for a big religious festivity
in Orani town on Saturday in celebration of the 50th anniversary of
the canonical coronation of the 400-year-old image of the Virgin
Mary known as Nuestra Señora Virgen del Rosario.
