Swine flu outbreak seen to boost RP pork export |
|

THERE is strong possibility that the local hog industry would be
tapped by other countries for their supply of pork, as the
Philippines has remained free of the swine flu virus that has broken
out in major meat exporting countries.
“There is a big possibility, since we are
declared free from swine flu,” Eliseo Yu of the National
Federation of Hog Farmers told the Manila Times in a phone
interview.
