RP war on terror gets praise

GMA also cited for advancing peace

WASHINGTON, D.C.: With the fight against terrorism topping their first one-on-one meeting at the White House, President Gloria Arroyo and US President Barack Obama agreed on Thursday (Friday morning in Manila) to enhance the friendship and strengthen bilateral ties between their two countries.

During the meeting, Obama hailed the historic relationship of the two allies, and cited the contributions of Filipinos to America.
