WE have every reason to thank our millions of overseas Filipino
workers (OFWs) for the country’s slim escape from an economic
contraction in the first quarter of the year.
Late last month, Moody’s Investors’ Service
lifted the Philippines’ credit rating a notch higher to Ba3 from
the previous B1.
