Cotabato archdiocese warns of more flash floods 

Disaster coordinating council reports a total of P535.35M in damages to infrastructure

Cotabato City: The Archdiocese of Cotabato has warned of more destructive flash floods in the future in Central Mindanao if the national government would further delay the release of funds intended for flood control projects.

Archbishop Orlando Quevedo, who is the chairman of the Presidential Mindanao River Basin Task Force on Wednesday said he felt dismayed by government’s slow action on requests for equipment needed to dredge the Rio Grande de Mindanao River.
