‘Lakas’ stands by Teodoro

Ruling party not unraveling, says

 
Palace adviserPresidential Adviser for Political Affairs Gabriel Claudio said that moves questioning the loyalty of Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro to Lakas-Kampi Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), the ruling coalition, were not supported by the party leadership.

The Manila Times on Tuesday reported that a ranking official of Lakas-Kampi CMD wanted Teodoro to show proof of his resignation from the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) so that he could be accepted by members of the administration party.
