Toti Cerda’s ‘Forever Young’

He may not be as young as he used to be. But even at the age of 49, critically acclaimed artist Toti Cerda can still immortalize youth. And with his upcoming show from August 21 to September 6 at the Art Center in SM Megamall, he plans to add yet another testament to that ability.

With the title, Forever Young, the exhibit will be a showcase of over 50 paintings done by Cerda. Inspired by a Bob Dylan song of the same title, it revolves around the vivacity of children and their thirst for all that life has to offer. To some of these pieces, it will be their first time to be seen by a large number of people. Waiting for the right time and place to be unveiled, they have been kept for years within Gallery Genesis under the watchful eye of its owner Chi Chi Salas.
