Meralco assures it
will not cut PGH electricity |

Department of Health to help defray government
hospital’s unpaid power and water bills |

Manila Electric Co. (Meralco)
said that it will continue to service the electricity needs of the
Philippine General Hospital (PGH) while the two parties resolve how
to settle the latter’s unpaid bills.
In a statement, Meralco said,
“While we are discussing with the PGH on how they will settle
their arrears, the hospital’s electric service will remain in
status-quo.”
