NEWS that the government’s use of foreign aid—also called
official development assistance (ODA)—picked up sharply in the
first half of this year should be encouraging.
Over the weekend, the National Economic and
Development Authority (NEDA) said fund disbursement jumped 96
percent to $826.59 million year-on-year.
