Rise of filipino ‘drug mules’ alarming

2 OFWs set to transport 
heroin to China nabbed

Two overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) were arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) while in the act of transporting illegal drug to China, the National Bureau of Investigation reported Tuesday.

Authorities identified the suspects as Mary Jane Vargas, 28, and Salvador Alberto 2nd, 30, both teachers at People’s Republic of China.
