The Lakas-Kampi CMD merger, even if it had pushed through, could
lose several leaders with the refusal of former President Fidel V.
Ramos to be a part of it, Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri
said Tuesday.
“We lost a wing,” Zubiri moaned Ramos’
rejection of his affirmation by President Gloria Arroyo as the
chairman emeritus of Lakas-Kampi Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-Kampi
CMD).
