The Other Estrada |
|
Mayor JV Ejercito of San Juan
|
|
By Tessa Mauricio-Arriola
If Mayor Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito of San
Juan City decides to do a Mikey Arroyo and give up his planned bid
to the House of Representatives in 2010, it is not because he is
assuming the role of the dutiful son. He would yield to his father,
former President Joseph Ejercito Estrada, to run for congress
because it would be “for the greater good.”
“The aim is to thwart any plans of GMA to stay
in power by becoming prime minister if her allies succeed in a
constituent assembly; and since my father still commands tremendous
support from the masses, I would willingly sacrifice myself for the
opposition and for the people,” he told The Manila Times in an
exclusive interview.

Aby Barros believes that Filipinos, generally, still lack the

dreadful effects of global warming. It took a trip to France to
realize how a government can truly make everything
