Donaire eyes climb to featherweight

NONITO ‘The Filipino Flash’ Donaire Jr. revealed Tuesday that he will not stay long in the superflyweight class and will eye the featherweight class in the coming years.

Donaire gave up his International Boxing Federation and International Boxing Organization flyweight (112 pounds) crowns and took the World Boxing Association Interim super­fly­weight (115 pounds) crown with a convincing win over Rafael Con­cepcion last week at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
