invoke a harsh internal security act to handle planned mass protests
by anti-government “Red Shirts”
in Bangkok at the weekend.This move comes on the
hills of Thailand’s widely revered king warned that the country
could collapse if its feuding political factions do not unite, as
the government braced for fresh street protests.
