Ruling party yet to pick presidential candidate

Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, apparently at the risk of picking a fight with Vice President Noli de Castro, on Friday insisted that the administration party was yet to pick its standard-bearer in the 2010 elections, contrary to de Castro saying that President Gloria Arroyo had chosen him.

Since the ruling coalition Lakas-Kampi Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) has not decided on who its presidential candidate would be in next year’s polls, Teodoro said, he will just wait for its final word.
