President Gloria Arroyo is all
set to attend the African Union Summit meeting in Tripoli, Libya on
August 31, the Department of Foreign Affairs reported over the
weekend.
The Foreign Affairs department
confirmed that President Arroyo was invited by Libya, as chairman of
the African Union, to attend the two-day special summit on the
settlement of conflicts in Africa aimed at finding ways to address
peace and security issues in the continent.
