AFP to stay neutral in 2010 polls
|

Victor Ibrado, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the
Philippines (AFP), has assured that the military will not be used in
favor of certain candidates in the 2010 presidential elections.
He gave the assurance over the weekend in
reaction to recent statements of Danilo Lim, the jailed former
commandant of the Scout Rangers, that the AFP could be used again to
‘cheat’ in next year’s polls.
