Magdaló group seeks testimony of
Ermita, Bunye |

A lawyer of the Magdaló group would ask the
Makati court handling the 2003 Oakwood mutiny case to summon
Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita and former Press Secretary
Ignacio Bunye to testify at the next hearing.
Ernesto Francisco Jr., counsel for Magdaló group, said he would ask
Judge Oscar Pimentel of Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 148 to
summon the two government officials to shed light on the events in
February 2003 in Mindanao that triggered the group’s attempted
coup d’etat.
