Magnolia beats Harbour, levels series 1-1

MAGNOLIA needed Niel Raneses and Eder Saldua’s last ditch effort before pulling off an 84-80 win over Harbour Centre Thursday to tie the best-of-five championship series, 1-1, of the 2009 Philippine Basketball League PG Flex Linoleum Cup.

At the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City, Raneses and Saldua combined for 13 points in the final quarter to lead the Wizards’ triumph, which at least reduced the series to best-of-three.
