Govt rejects all T-bill bids

The government has rejected all bids for its Treasury bills on Monday as banks demanded higher rates for the debt papers.

“There’s a lot of speculation in the market because of the new supply [of debt papers] from the government-owned and-controlled corporations and private corporations,” National Treasurer Roberto Tan said.
