The nation needs Among Ed’s victory

The inclusion of Gov. Eddie “Among Ed” Panlilio of Pampanga on the list of possible presidential candidates in 2010 mostly likely sent scores of provincial politicians into fits of unexplainable rage. He has wisely announced that he is not interested in any national office and that he would rather go back to being a priest.

They have thrown every piece of garbage in the direction of the suspended-priest/governor, every hurdle and every roadblock to make his administration fail. A campaign of vilification started from Day One of the Panlilio governorship, quietly and covertly at first and then openly and oozing with venom.
