Govt fair game to Legacy

Lawmakers grill BSP, as it calledfor more powers

 
The government did not stand a chance against allegedly predatory practices of a business group that supposedly went bankrupt but not after also allegedly making tens of millions of pesos off gullible investors.

That much was admitted by the deputy governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) during Monday’s resumption of hearings by the House of Representatives on the collapse of Legacy group owned by Celso de los Angeles.
