Amedical institution that has established a well-earned reputation for being a seat of surgical wonders in the field of heart surgery is the Philippine Heart Center (PHC) on East Avenue, Quezon City.

Inaugurated on February 14, 1975, with the world-famous pioneer heart-transplant surgeon, Dr. Christiaan Bernard, as special guest, the PHC has been catering not only to Filipino cardio-vascular patients but also to those from the Asia-Pacific Region who look to the Center as the “wellspring of a healthier and longer life.”
