Veterans Agency Seeks Help Versus Fixers

THE Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) on Friday sought the help of local government officials and the police to help the agency get rid of unscrupulous individuals or “fixers” who are victimizing war veterans making claims for the lump-sum compensation from the United States government.

“We are asking the mayors, governors and the police to help the veterans and save them from the fixers,” he said
