‘Professor of pugilism’ says,

Pacquiao-Hatton may be best bout in division

Veteran boxing pundit Larry Merchant said Manny Pacquiao-Ricky Hatton would probably be the biggest junior welterweight fight in history, an exciting match-up between two of the best sluggers in the world today.

Merchant, the “professor of pugilism” who hatched the concept of Pacquiao vs. Oscar de la Hoya and predicted it would be a thriller, told Michael Woods of TheSweet­Science.com, said that who ever wins is assured of even bigger fights down the road.
