House to summon oil firms, suppliers on LPG shortage |
|
The House Committee on Energy would start summoning big and small
oil companies, including distributors of liquefied petroleum gas
(LPG), to shed light on the reported scarcity of the commodity, said
House Energy Chair and Pampanga Rep. Mikey Arroyo.
“We are to be careful in making speculations
that may affect our economy. If there is really such a shortage, we
have to know the extent and identify how it will affect the price of
electricity and the public transport sector,” Arroyo said.
