Leadership row mars NSAs

Desperate national sports associations (NSAs) officials called on the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) on Friday to resolve their leadership conflicts since they are already getting in the way of the development of athletes.

Bong Coo of bowling, Edwin Pimentel of wushu, Mayor Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino of Tagaytay City of cycling and Kit Cojuangco of archery all urged the POC to act immediately on the matter so they could start preparing their athletes for international competitions, especially the Southeast Asian Games this December in Laos.
