THERE seems to be no end to Somali pirate attacks as they seized
another ship with 12 Filipino seafarers on board, the Department of
Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported Friday.

confirmed that Marine Vessel Longchamp, a German gas tanker, was
hijacked in the Gulf of Aden amidst the coastal states meeting in
Djibouti on piracy.
THE possibility of pig-to-human transmission of the Ebola-Reston
virus cannot be discounted at this time, Health Secretary Francisco
Duque 3rd said yesterday as the Department of Health (DOH) confirmed
that four more individuals have been found positive for antibodies
against the virus.
