The Philippines will achieve full manual voting in 2010 as expected, a sociologist and political analyst said on Saturday.

 Jose Dimaka, chairman of the Institute for National Identity, belittled the reported kiss-and-make up meeting on Friday of the Total Information Management Corp. (TIM) and Smartmatic International, saying a three-hour meeting will not solve the “irreconcilable differences” that marked their split on Monday.
