Ginebra favored to grab finals lead

WITHOUT Danny Ildefonso and Marc Pingris, it will be a walk in the park for the Ginebra Kings when they battle the San Miguel Beermen on Sunday in Game 3 of the best-of-seven championship series of the 2009 PBA-Motolite Fiesta Conference at the Araneta Coliseum.

The 6’5” Ildefonso and 6’3” Pingris, who combined for 20 points in the Beermen’s 95-78 win in Game 2, were meted with a severe one game suspension by Commissioner Sonny Barrios for involving themselves in an altercation with a Ginebra fan after the match on Friday at the Big Dome.
